Date System has years of experience in the Sun Shade sector and since 1989 we have focused especially on insect screens. In just a few years we have extended our clientele throughout Italy, and we now pride ourselves in our commercial relationships with both European and non-European countries.
Our commercial policy has always aimed not only to improve the effectiveness and aesthetics of our products, but also to make them economical and competitive.
With an eye to simplifying work, we have developed a single, 6m head rail for every type of insect screen kit, which enables us to manufacture insect screens with a lateral and bilateral, spring loaded, spring/chain control, for both windows and balconies. Simply change the accessory kit.
At the November '97 Trade Fair TECHNOROLL in Milan, Date System received the highly prized award "TECNOROLL DESIGN 97" for its patented system GUIDA SIKURA. This is a special guide channel, which allows you to simply click the mesh into the channel, to prevent wind or accidental collisions from removing it. Out-dated side turn buttons are no longer used.
Today, we have applied the innovative, more practical and more functional design of the Guida Sikura system to the SKUDO line, the insect screen of the year two thousand. It stands out for its ergonomic, curved lines and innovative applied technology to become Date System's forte, which met with glowing success and a valid appreciation when it was awarded the Gold Medal at the Trade Fair Equip'Baie 2000 in Paris by experts in this field.
When the CE UNI 13561 Standard came into force, we, at Data System, focused our attention on solving the problems of the insect screen spring loaded mechanism and we came up with design of two innovative, patented systems in the SKUDO series. The first of these is the spring Speed Reduction System, "S.R.V.", which slows down the retracting speed of the screen. Secondly, the spring tension Adjustment Control, "C.R.M.", even enables spring tension to be retro-fit reduced or increased.
We would particularly like to draw attention to the special feature of this system. Although other speed reduction systems exist on the market, our C.R.M. patented spring adjustment system is unique in its kind, as it solves the problems connected with the Speed Reduction Systems mechanism. Today, the SKUDO series comes complete with a version for face fitting, which is available with the smallest headbox on the market measuring only 30mm.
We introduced our new series of profiles for a sliding insect screen "SKERMO" at the Trade Show SAIEDUE 2002. This is a series of profiles featuring a softer, gentler design which enable us to manufacture sliding screens with two, three or more panels.
The Date System range of products is not limited to just insect screens. Market demand and specific requests from our own clientele have encouraged us to complete it with other associated products, such as:
- Roller blinds, to which we are paying increasing attention;
- 15mm and 25 mm Venetian and double-glazed blinds with manual or electric control;
- PVC, aluminium and steel roller shutters with relevant accessories and motorised parts;
