One of our top priorities has always been that of searching for new, innovative systems that would improve the functionality and design of all our products, and we have been rewarded with international recognitions, all of which have prompt us to endeavour in such activities.
With this state of mind, we have realised the six-meters kit bar ofthe SKUDO series, thereby making the work of assemblers lighter and easier. This single bar allows having rollers screens that can be operated spring/chain driven, side opened or opened on both sides (including the possibility of a frontal catch) by slightly modifying the accessories kit; it can be mounted on both windows and balconies. Experts from the sector all appraised the design and innovative technology applied and we were awarded with the Golden Medal at Design Plus Competition of the Equip’Baie 2000 that was held in Paris.
On the SKUDO series' screens, a spring roll system is fitted that acts on the force of the spring placed inside the aluminium roller -cassette. When accidentally opened, the screen could very quickly
retract and became a risk to the user's safety. Hence, to solve this problem, we have realised, in full compliance with EC Regulations, a unique brake system: the SISTEMA RIDUZIONE VELOCITA', "Speed Reducer System" SRV (see Figure 1).Unlike any other systems currently available on the market that, come with a complementary accessory to be added to the kit, our own system allows for a smooth and slow retraction of the net and is fully included in the cassette, that is, already provided with the assembly kit.
However, the traditional spring roll system requires the spring tension to be adjusted even afterthe screen has been fitted. Many factors could indeed compromise its good performance such as, for example, the different
sizes of the screens, the wear and the dust accumulation. Hence, we have realised an exclusive system to solve this problem: the CONTROLLO REGOLAZIONE MOLLA "Spring Setup ControI" CRM (see Figure 2).
It allows adjusting the spring tension, without dismounting the frame, by inserting a special hexagonalkey included in the kit, right into the hole present on the cassette head.
